Beirut--A pilot and co-pilot of an F-16 warplane had been illed after t was shot down in Eastern Beirut.

Lebanese Army confirmed the death of a pilot and co-pilot of an Israeli warplane above "Kafar Shima" village in Eastern Beirut.

Reports indicated that the warplane had been targeted by a surface-to-air missile launched by the military wing of Hezbollah.
